    I held the hand above and using Bernard Magee's Benjamised Acol, opened 2C, my partner bid the 2D relay and I bid 2 spades showing 8 playing tricks in spades. My partner held the hand below. What should have been the sequence of bidding after this?

    I would not rebid 2S. I would rebid 3S to show a solid suit. The auction might go

    2C-2D
    3S-4NT
    5C-7NT

    If playing ordinary Blackwood instead of Keycard then the response would be 5S but the final bid the same. 7NT could go down but it needs only spades 3-3 or 4-2 or singleton 10 which is nearly 90%.
