The danger is that opponents will find their spade fit and you may find that passing is more effective at silencing opponents than taking action.
If you do bid then it will depend on your methods: If just using natural methods then 2C looks reasonable. If your system allows you to show a 2-suiter in hearts and clubs then use that bid (eg an Astro 2C bid to show hearts and a minor).
We use a 2S response to 1NT to show a 6 card minor to A or K and 9 - 11 pts. Opener relays 2NT, responder bids 3 of the minor & opener decides whether to stop there or venture the lightish 3NT with a good fit in the long suit. Here, I'd pretend QC was KC and bid 2S - fringe benefit is that it makes it very hard for opponents to find their spade fit!
